What are your top 3 feature requests for Clicky?

1) Account "groups" so I can combine multiple sites' traffic into a single report
2) Include "Unique Visitors" in Basics Module (I thought I saw this briefly earlier this week??)
3) Selecting "Last 30 days" from the date range drop down should end the 30 days at the end of "yesterday". It shouldn't include today's traffic (which is only partial since the day isn't done)

1) Custom dashboard comparisons (Compare vs. avg of previous n days or previous n Mondays, etc.)
2) Alerts on dashboard summarizing current 'significant' activity. Some pre-programmed, some custom
3) New module for dashboard, Last Hour = The Basics for the last 60 minutes plus a list of top content from last hour. Would be useful if comparison was vs. day's trend so you can see if traffic is 'accelerating' or 'slowing.'

Perhaps creating a guest account feature which will allow people to view stats that you want them to see. We should be able to pick out which ones they have permission to view.

It might be worthwhile putting together a poll where we can vote on our top 3 things, from a list of 10 things you're keen to implement?

1. In Page analytics (ala Click Tale) providing you an idea of user behavior in various areas of a page (scrolling, clicking into fields, etc)

2. Additional Plugins - I think there is an opportunity to expand the community greatly by the development of plugins for various high profile web apps (Magento Shopping Cart, VBulletin Forums)

3. Ability to record "In site search" statistics as a custom (local?) search provider perhaps

I would like to see more advanced segmentation. GA's is pretty nice (although I don't know how correct it is...when you take it to the dashboard, the numbers change), and Woopra is apparently coming out with some "bad ass" segmentation that's supposed to be better than GA's.

I think you are addressing some of this with your "visitor groups" that was in the list for March 09, but it needs advanced features. It seems like your filters are one layer deep, and sometimes we need several layers.

Also, it would be nice to go "back" on the iPhone app, and not go all the way back to the top level...kind of a pain there.

Not sure if this is possible, but a js expansion mechanism when you click on a visitor summary's "actions" link - instead of going to a new page, can you expand the section?

Have the ability to choose what is downloads and not in the site. Now clicky says all kind of things are downloads.

I follow Steve's idea: why not making a poll with features you are keen to implement, so we can have them based on this priorities?

1. A simple search box that would search across the date range I have selected. I want it to search my custom data.

2. See what pages drive the most revenue.

3. See sessions per page url.

@HollywooDosis I assume Sean wants to know what "we" want not what we want that he wants most. When he knows our wants he'll be able to set up a poll, prioritise, a uservoice etc.

1. Aggregate Stats

I'd like a way to export visitor and action counts for graphing somewhere else. Part of the reason for this is that recently I had an explosion of traffic to my site -- 10 times the normal daily volume on one day -- that was really a "mistake" and not the result of anything positive I did. But that spike will always overshadow everything else and make graphs nearly useless.

Yeah the reason this isn't a poll is I don't want to restrict your choices. I want to know exactly what you want, even if it's ridiculous.

Segmentation all the way - let us mine the useful data we need for our business:
1) Let me save segmentation groups so I don't have to enter them repeatedly
2) Let me choose values I want to see for the segmentation group, e.g. favourite pages, top exit pages, conversion rate. Let me save these configurations as well.
3) Let me compare different segmentation groups.

my wishes:

1. I use one tracking code for various domains which are for the same website. I am fine with aggregated data (in fact I want it that way), but it would be interesting which domains are used how often by my visitors.

2. More detailed data about the languages that visitors have setup in their webbrowser. For example, at the moment it only shows "German", but their is not only "de" as a language, but also "de_de" (Germany), "de_at" (Austria) and "de_ch" (Switzerland). Would be nice to have them separated!

I am not sure if Clicky can do any of these...but it would be nice.

1. Ability to assign names to the content URL strings. Much like the current ability to assign names to IP addresses. Example:

From this => http://www.mysiteurl.com/cgi-bin/app/accounts/ac.cgi?action=main
To this => User Center Main

2. Visitor breadcrumb. Tracks visitor movements throughout the site.

3. In the white label admin area. Buttons to delete or inactivate users. Obviously, the delete would do the same thing an API call could, but it is a lot easier from the admin area. The inactivate (or pause) would just disable the user from logging into their account to check stats. This would toggle the status. :)

Better tracking for whether or not visitors have JS enabled. It would be useful to quickly see what percentage of site visitors have this turned on. I've already written my own functionality to do this, but it would be great to have it integrated within the Clicky Dashboard.

WHY ISN'T MULTIVARIATE TESTING #1??

All these features suggested above might be nifty little gizmos, but multivariate testing makes people cold hard cash. There are no multivariate testing tools on the market worth using priced less than $3000 per month.

If I was running clicky, I would halt absolutely everything and start building in multivariate testing capabilities. Nothing else can possibly be more important.

So my top 3 are:

1) MULTIVARIATE TESTING
2) MULTIVARIATE TESTING
3) MULTIVARIATE TESTING

You can fake multivariate testing with custom data tracking. Obviously having it as a "real" feature would be better but in the meantime...

The ability to see a visitor's total visits to the site over a given time period.

Well, then:

2 - A filter, or some way to check only visitors that came tru Google Images only (with all google image domains included) please? A way to check bouncerate and pageviews of this particular visitors would be GREAT!

(I know there's a filter option, but it doesn't work quite right with google images, specially if you have visits from different countries)

By number 2 I meant: a way to merge traffic of *all* images.google.* - that way I don't have to check stats for *every* referral:

A more advanced email-report system.

I'm a webdesigner/admin for several websites and I'm also the owner of the Clicky account. I would like to be able to send my clients weekly reports without the link to the Clicky account and such. They won't have to know what my account is at Clicky.. It's irrelevant for them as they won't be able to log in to my Clicky anyways. I just want them to receive a nice weekly email report for their website (and personal administration) and all the other things concerning Clicky will be only relevant to me as I am the one with the Clicky account.

3 other features concerning the email-report system:

- generate instant report
(if your not satisfied with the content of the current report, you won't have to wait a day in order to see the next one after your changes)
- more control e.g. the order of the content etc..
(just like the dashboard)
- custom logo and text/title/note in the pdf
(Of course the clicky logo/notice etc. can stay. A custom logo/header/notice will just allow you to generate more personal reports for your clients and it will be nicer for them if they print them out for their administration.

P.s. Another great option would be if I could somehow call the current Clicky data and print it onto a website (into my own layout, kind of like a template parser).. This way I can show the Clicky visitor data on my clients CMS/admin part of their website, and show only the information that is relative for them (e.g. they won't have to know the visitors resolution/os etc..). Doing so, I wont have to send e-mail reports if they don't want to receive information by e-mail, they can just look it up at their own secured part of their website, whenever they want to.

Pardon me.. I just found out that the API to print Clicky data onto your own website already exists.. so just ignore that one :P

I would like to be able to add certain sites as if they were search engines. I get some traffic listed under "other sources" that actually search engines (not google and the other biggies). Therefore it would be good if I could treat "other sources" and classify them search engines so I only get what I consider to be true "other sources", which might be secondary links worth monitoring at the summary screen level.

Justr one thing: in all chars, having the option to show it as a pie chart instead of bars!! This pie chart should include the five biggest items (or so) and the rest aggregated as "other". eTracker.com has that pie chart functionality for example. I think it is very useful.

Here are my top 3 feature requests.

1. It would be great to see a section where we can build a custom report similar to how Google Analytics allows you to, so you can print out a nice formatted report. I'd also like to see the scheduled email reports have some charts and graphics on them with live links that you could actually click on as well.

2. I'd like to see a section comparing New vs Returning Visitors

3. A visual heat map or click tracking option similar to service like Crazy Egg would also be very helpful.

Clicky is great product and I look forward to more great features and updates!

This is the biggest draw back of clicky versus Google A

It would be nice to have an "Average" line (in a different color) on the graphs that shows that graph's average stat. Or just place an "Average" option in the "Compare" pull-down.

Would love to have a way to see what customers are adding to our hosted shopping cart. Can't get an easy combined view of activity by IP at the moment they add an item to the cart. The data is there (we can do spy into the cart) but it is a chore to go back and find the IP that is bouncing between our site and our hosted cart, and then deciphering the code to see what was carried to the shopping cart. That said, we love your product and use it constantly! We really appreciate the addition of seeing who is on the site in real time (quantity) and also the addition of visitors by State ("region").

Moving average option for Daily Visitors, and other graphs

1) I agree with the bounce rate per page. My site has a few distinct landing pages that I'm sure behave differently.

2) More graphs. I would like to be able to graph these over time:
- Bounce rate
- % of visitors that use each broswer
- % of visitors that use each screen resolution
- Page views for any particular page

3) Sparklines. I like the customizable percentage changes next to each number, but what would really be awesome would be a sparkline for each statistic. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sparklines That would give the numbers context and make the data more meaningful and quicker to parse.

Kevin you can click the red/green percentage next to any item to view a graph of its history! It doesn't do percentages, just the total numbers, unless that number IS a percentage (e.g, bounce rate)

Wow! I've been using clicky for a while now and I never knew those percentages were clickable! Okay, scratch that off the list. Maybe somehow bring attention to that somehow without being intrusive. Or maybe I'm just a little slow.

Reports - the only way I know of receiving a report is by setting up an email report, which I like - but I'd like to be able to run a report right away and to be able to use customisable dates.

1.) Permanent Visitor Logs So We Can Track All of the Return Visits from an IP (Not Just from a Limited Time Period)
2.) Comparison Chart Showing New Visitors vs. Return Visitors During Each Month
3.) Implement User Voice (or Something Similar) to Make it Easier for Us to Review & Vote on Change Suggestions

For the upcoming enhanced Spy feature enhancement, can I suggest a variable amount of rows. Possibly 20, 50, 10o, etc. of the most recent visitor actions.
